She married in Aldborough in 1772 and Christopher Welbank was a witness, but there is no record of her birth. She must be his close relative, but he isn't likely to be her father as he would have been 17 when she was born, I have made the assumption that she is the child of Robert, his cousin, cooper of York.. He had recently married and a son had just died, in the year she was born, so quite plausible he would have a child of her age. He had died in 1766, before she married. |
