    • Residence: 1872, Higher Casterton near Kirby Lonsdale, Westmoreland; She was then living with Emma Mitchell and Rosabelle Mitchell. They are all cousins of Mary Anne Mitchell, named in her probate record. In the 1871 census they are all desribed as retired school mistresses.
