Willesden, Middlesex [1] [1] |
In 1468 there is a suit against John Welbank formerly of Northcoueton in Yorks, husbandman, Thomas Welbank formerly of Northcoueton, husbandman, and William Fox formerly of Northcoueton husbandman. The suit is brought in Middlesex, for trespass with force of arms and wounding and beating one John Harryson who lives towards Willesden.
It seems likely that John and Thomas are relatives and possible that they are both sons of John the son of John and Christine. As this John was occupying a messuage in North Cowton in 1444 and 1477, perhaps it's more likely it would be his sons who were in Middlesex.
